Summary:
The Marketing Specialist works with the rest of the Marketing team to organize and coordinate Marketing activities and projects for the company while monitoring and expanding Verified First’s brand externally. They are responsible for managing the content calendar, coordinating virtual events, and creating content. Content created could include email templates, social media graphics/posts, thought-leadership content, sales enablement content, and more.
How our Marketing Specialist spends their time:
- Understand different buyer personas and create content that meets prospects and clients where they are in the buyer journey;
- Create content for both internal and external audiences such as slide decks, templates, sales sheets, blogs, ebooks, case studies, infographics, tip sheets, etc.;
- Plan, coordinate, and execute virtual events, including our monthly webinar series, HR at the Table;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop event strategies, timelines, and promotional materials;
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar aligned with marketing and business objectives;
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed to achieve goals;
- Strategize, plan, and schedule marketing campaigns to drive traffic that translates into sales;
- Proof, edit, and review content for the Verified First Marketing team;
- Coordinate marketing efforts with other internal departments;
- Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends;
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred;
- 1+ years of experience in Marketing;
- Professional writing and editorial experience required;
- Professional design experience preferred;
- Experience with Google Suite platform is strongly preferred;
- Social media management experience preferred;
- Event planning experience preferred;
