Summary of Job Duties: The Administrative Analyst will serve as the receptionist, administrative support, and grant/contract support for the School of Art and Design. In this role, the coordinator will collaborate with various units within the college and the university. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Qualifications:
Required Education and/or Experience
- Formal education is equivalent to a high school diploma.
Preferred Education and/or Experience - Associate’s degree or higher;
- Experience with Banner, Workday, and/or Degree Works.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the office of the School of Art and Design
- Prepare letters, memos, and other departmental documents;
- Respond to inquiries from students, staff, faculty, and the public; Serve as a liaison with adjunct and part-time faculty members;
Manage Finance and Budget:
- Maintain the department budget, initiate purchase requisitions, and monitor expenditures; Manage the department lease and purchase contracts, including office equipment and office and supplies;
- Initiate PAPs for faculty, staff, and student employees;
- Assist in making travel arrangements for visitors, and in filing for travel reimbursement; Manage payroll-related documents, purchase orders, and other procedural forms required by other entities on campus and with the School;
Manage Communications:
- Assist supervisor by maintaining appointment calendar, and prioritizing incoming correspondence;
- Assist in preparing reports, newsletters, outreach materials, and other documents;
- Assist in research and analysis of data pertinent to the School;
- Maintain proficiency in University computer programs and software applications;
- Perform other duties as assigned;
