Drees Homes is growing! We are seeking a full-time, tech-savvy Digital Strategist to work in our Ft. Mitchell, KY headquarters. The Digital Strategist establishes the vision and strategy and then executes demand-generating digital marketing campaigns for our operating divisions. The individual in this role will be responsible for growing the online sales funnel which will require analysis, testing, and reporting. You’ll also lead our Salesforce Marketing Cloud system initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Recommends and steers Drees Homes’ digital marketing and demand generation strategy.
- Collaborates with internal teams and agency partners to drive online conversions and lead generation efforts.
- Partners with advertising manager, agency partners and internal graphic designers to create compelling creative content. Traffics digital advertising to agency partners or media vendor and organizes digital content in our asset library.
- Designs and executes demand-generating digital marketing campaigns including paid social media, email, internal advertising on Dreeshomes.com, content marketing, and paid advertising.
- Analyzes data and metrics to measure the success of marketing campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Champions the use of marketing automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud for lead generation, nurturing and efficient sales funnel management. Collaborates with IT and Marketing to define and execute roadmap of future system enhancements.
- Manages email and SMS workflow, tasks and calendars in order to deliver campaigns on time.
- Oversees the template library, ensures email best practices, mobile responsiveness and rendering across all clients and devices.
- Oversees the data feed that fuels third-party Real Estate sites. Conducts regular audits and investigates questions about online listings on these sites. Works with IT and the listing partners to ensure regular data feed updates as needed.
- Develops and manages high-quality reporting and communicates performance and insights.
- Will manage the digital marketing budget and ensure accuracy of media placements.
- 10-15% travel, sometimes overnight
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related fields of study. Digital media certification a plus.
- 5+ years of experience of active, hands-on experience building campaigns directly in paid media platforms such as Google, Meta and Pinterest
- Demonstratable acumen in building email, SMS and user journeys, preferably in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, GA4, Google Tag Manager. Use of PowerBI and Optimizely CMS is a plus.
- Planning and executional skills - planning, writing briefs, segmentation, campaign setup, QA, A/B testing, reporting.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; has leveraged data to drive decisions and turned results into actionable learnings.
- Good interpersonal collaboration skills, communication skills with experience presenting data and making recommendations.
- Knowledge of current and future trends in digital marketing and communications platforms and applications
- Knowledge of HTML coding is preferred.
