Job description

The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Curriculum Director with a start date of July 1, 2024. This is a full-time, twelve-month administrative position. Responsibilities include instructional leadership, professional development, teacher evaluation, curriculum development, and induction of new teachers.

The District seeks a dynamic, collaborative, energetic instructional leader who is mission and data-driven and has the knowledge of theory and practice in the education of grade K-12 learners. Knowledge and experience in meeting the needs of all learners is a priority.

Organizational, collaborative, and coaching skills are critical to success in this position. The District is searching for a candidate who demonstrates a commitment to leading professional learning and possesses various professional experiences. Successful administrative experience and background with culturally diverse students and families will strengthen candidacy. A Master's degree in educational administration, educational leadership, or related field is required.
