Job description

Job Summary:

The Field Operations Shift Commander is responsible for field operations oversight in an assigned area or areas. This role supervises and coordinates activities of team members providing emergency medical services and other operations. The Operations Field Shift Commander is responsible for assisting the District Commander in overseeing the assigned region to ensure: quality patient care, operational efficiency, proper staffing levels, motivation and development of employees, healthy relationships with customers and clients, and support of company goals and objectives. This position will oversee the day-to-day operation of LifeLine Ambulance Service and act as the Shift Commander. Duties will include asset management, staff credentialing, staff scheduling, upholding written policies and operating procedures, development of team member recruitment, training programs, and staff retention. The Operations Field Shift Commander may assist with EMS response and direct patient care. Previous business management and staff supervision experience preferred.
