Job Description:
Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the warehouse automation industry with expertise in material handling solutions and strong technical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute technical sales proposals to meet client expectations and achieve revenue targets to expand market presence in the warehouse automation sector.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within the material handling and warehouse automation industry.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and solution presentations to understand client requirements and recommend tailored warehouse automation solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams to develop comprehensive proposals and quotations that address customer needs and align with our client's technical capabilities.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, including system design, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for product enhancements and strategic partnerships.
Qualifications:
- At least 3+ years of successful technical sales experience in the warehouse automation industry, with a focus on material handling solutions.
- Proven track record of hitting sales targets and building strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Deep understanding of warehouse automation technologies, including racking, conveyors, ASRS, and other integrated solutions.
- Technical expertise in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or software engineering related to warehouse automation systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software and ability to create technical drawings and designs.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues in warehouse automation systems.
