Job description
The role entails overseeing the development, deployment, and support of internal and commercial software solutions for Stolle. The employee will also be responsible for the administration of SharePoint functions for global multi-company systems. In addition, they will manage resources for implementing custom software solutions, including SharePoint application components. They should possess a strong understanding of software concepts, such as SDLC and change management within Microsoft's software development stack. Building strong relationships between business units, IT, outsourcing vendors, and software vendors will be a crucial aspect of the role. Furthermore, the employee will need to be available 24/7 to provide support for global IT technology solutions.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and architecture of SharePoint for local, global, and customer-supplied solutions, including internal and POS IT solutions for customers and suppliers.
- Participate, and often provide leadership, in the development of custom solutions and integration with related software solutions and standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert in integrating key business functions into the architecture, design, testing, and implementation of software solutions.
- Demonstrate expertise in SQL Server integration with software solutions and SharePoint.
- Perform any additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, BCS, or a related field.
- 12 years of relevant experience, or 16 years of related experience in MS SharePoint, MS Windows, MS SQL Server, and Active Directory.
- IT management and/or prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
- IT certifications such as Oracle, Microsoft, Citrix, and/or Cisco are a plus.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, .NET, C#, JavaScript, Python, JSON, among others.
- Familiarity with web frameworks like React, jQuery, Spring, SPFx, as well as HTML 5/CSS 3
This position requires the ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
- A typical work schedule of 40 hours per week, including potential on-call status, evenings, and weekends.
