Prairie St. John's has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, intensive outpatient services, MAT and supportive housing. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region. More than 4,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St. John's.

We are currently seeking an Outpatient Manager who oversees the development of outpatient programs necessary to meet the needs of the community in keeping with the organization’s philosophy and goals.

Outpatient Manager Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a health care field
• Ability to understand, monitor and effectively communicate applicable regulations, policies and procedures
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Be familiar with accrediting bodies documentation requirements 
• Ability to monitor and train staff through chart audits and training as needed
• Knowledgeable of mental health and chemical dependency
• Displays a professional attitude in all aspects of performance
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other computer skills
