This strategic work requires streamlining and repurposing technology across different business and distribution channels – including streaming, linear, and theatrical – so that technology can ebb and flow across the needs of the business.
Commerce Engineering seeks a Business Analytics Manager to drive the strategy and planning of CDN traffic shaping and cloud compute hybridization. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using statistical and financial modeling to optimize the CDN provider portfolio mix, evolving the media delivery strategy towards increased distribution reach while balancing costs with complementary growth opportunities in cloud computing. The Senior manager will be responsible for regular recurring forecasts of future capacity to ensure alignment with long-range business objectives, usage projections, and changing market conditions.
This role will focus on leading strategic media distribution initiatives and their execution across the organization to develop organizational vision, strategy, and effective communication of current performance and future opportunities.
The candidate must possess the necessary skills to communicate with vendors regarding service performance and track results against members of their cohort.
Manage internal partners and adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change. The person will liaise with teams in finance and CDN operations to facilitate fundamental tradeoffs of performance and quality.
