RN Medical Surgical, Day and Night Shift Available, 12-Hour Shifts
Our client is seeking RNs to provide professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment. You will be accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan.
In this role, you will apply the principles of Nursing Professional Practice with a focus on comprehensive patient care. This encompasses a range of responsibilities, starting with the assessment and identification of appropriate nursing diagnoses, followed by meticulous planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. You will actively develop, update, and coordinate individualized care plans to ensure that patient goals are met and outcomes are optimized across the entire care journey. The timely monitoring, recording, and communication of patient conditions are vital aspects of this role, aligning with the specific requirements of your area of expertise and the populations you serve.
You will also be a strong advocate for ethical and holistic care, actively participating in care planning that upholds the autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs of the individuals. Your role extends beyond patient care, encompassing a commitment to education and continuous learning. You will create a conducive learning environment for patients, families, fellow nurses, and healthcare team members, including students. Both formal and informal learning opportunities will be part of your approach, promoting knowledge dissemination not only within our team but also within the broader community.
Required Qualifications:
* Graduation from an accredited nursing program
* Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License*
* Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
* 1 year of nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
National Certification in area of specialty upon hire
