Job Description:   Manufacturing Machine Operator
Position Type:   Full-Time,  Contract to Hire
Location:   Melbourne, FL (North)
Pay Range:  $16 .44-$17.44/hr. (dependent upon shift assignment)

Summary :

LEAD Technical is currently looking for several  Manufacturing  Machine Operators for our client in the North Melbourne area .   In this role, you will be working in one of multiple capacities in a production environment, operating machin es used in the fabrication of  a variety of products used in commercial applications . This is an  exciting opportunity to build a career with a worldwide leader  in their space .   This is a  CONTRACT-TO-HIRE role that is available immediately.

Responsibilities: 

• Operate equipment in accordance with  work instructions
• Perform setup, including  tooling setup and changeout,  speed and measurement ad justment , and other parameters to  meet specifications
• Carry out  quality  inspection of completed materials to ensure conformance
• Maintain equipment  and wo rk area cleanliness
• Wear all required PPE (personal protection equipment)

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanically inclined with a background in personal or professional projects
• Ability to read and interpret printed instructions and blueprints
• Comfortable applying mathematics and critical thinking in a shop/manufacturing environment
• Process oriented
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Must be able to lift  up to 50lbs.
