WHAT CAN RELIAS OFFER YOU?
- Full time, paid internship! Running Tuesday, May 28th through Friday, August 2nd, 2024

As a Business Development Intern at Relias, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Business Development team. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in collecting and updating contact information, researching target companies, and maintaining accurate data for effective outreach. You will be an integral part of our dynamic team, gaining valuable insights into the business development process.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Contact Information Collection: Conduct research to identify and collect accurate contact information for potential clients and key decision-makers utilizing both online resources and direct phone interactions. (30%)
- Phone Outreach: Engage in professional and courteous phone conversations with prospects to gather relevant information and enhance our understanding of their needs and challenges. (15%)
- Target Company Research: Investigate and analyze target companies, providing comprehensive insights into their business operations. (15%)
- Data Accuracy Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of prospect data withing our systems, keeping databases up-to-date for seamless outreach efforts. (15%)
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Development Representatives and other team members to align efforts and contribute to the overall success of the business development initiatives. (10%)
- Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed documentation of research findings and phone interactions, ensuring easy access for the boarder team. (10%)
- Other duties as assigned. (5%)
YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with Outlook or other email systems
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Effective verbal communication skills for professional phone interactions
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to learn and contribute
Education Required
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program.
