Marketing Data Operations Analyst Location Yarmouth, ME :
The Marketing Data Operations Analyst (Data Operations Specialist) is an integral member of the marketing data team, which supports Tyler Technologies' corporate and divisional strategic initiatives through marketing data operations, reporting, and analytics.
The Marketing Data Operations Analyst will have a range of responsibilities, including data management and hygiene, prioritization and execution of campaign lists operations, and identifying and reviewing key reporting metrics. The Marketing Data Operations Analyst will collaborate with field marketing teams to understand and identify contact demographics for inclusion in targeted communications, enriching and updating data attributes, analyzing lead generation efforts across outbound channels, and periodically analyzing and presenting results of data operations efforts to the marketing organization. The Marketing Data Operations Analyst will collaborate with the campaign operations and marketing technology teams on data maintenance and process improvements and reporting enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with field marketing and marketing operations teams to pull targeted lists of contacts for inclusion in outbound communications.
- Work closely with marketing teams to help collect, measure, optimize and communicate results of marketing outbound campaigns.
- Work with marketing technology team to understand data sources, data errors, and validate outputs that impact reporting.
- Identify data gaps and work with partner teams to enrich and update data.
- Effectively prioritize and manage Marketing list load requests.
- Manage list/data import project tasks for campaign execution while ensuring contractual obligations.
- Maintain and validate account-based lists within Tyler's Marketing Automation Platform (MAP)
- Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze, cleanse, and integrate client/prospect data.
- Collaborate with partner teams to create formal processes for (and continuously improve) data management practices for Tyler.
- Collaborate with IT, sales enablement, and support counterparts on data governance and data quality.
- Handle an array of ad hoc requests from the team and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with 2-5 years of experience in processes supporting data operations and analytics for marketing/sales functions.
- Experience with MAPs like Adobe Marketo Engage (preferred), Pardot, or HubSpot.
- Experience with CRM tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred) or Salesforce
- Experience working with BI tools such as Power BI (preferred) or Tableau.
- General knowledge and awareness of data privacy laws.
- Strong presentation skills in terms of putting together slides and presenting the information.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills, while addressing dependent tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to manage through ambiguous and subjective situations acting independently when needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Must be willing to work as part of a team and collaborate with team members within marketing, IT and sales enablement on larger projects.
- Intellectual curiosity and desire to challenge the status quo.
- Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server (preferred) or Oracle SQL.
