Job description

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with one of the areas fastest growing fabrication companies in the search for experienced Welders. Our client is a large fabrication manufacturer of the highest integrity and quality with more than 50 years experience in the industry. This position is open on 1stand 2nd shifts. What You Will Do

• Select and install the appropriate welding wire and gas blend
• Interpret welding instructions and structural blueprints with precision
• Proficiently decode and comprehend welding symbols
• Verify both the quantity and quality of welded parts
• Utilize a fuel gas hand torch for heat straightening
• Participate in cleaning, assembly, and straightening tasks as directed
• Configure and fine-tune welding equipment for optimal performance
• Be involved in various welding methods including GMAW, Flux, Sub Arc, etc.
• Maintain adherence to all quality policies, specifications, and instructions.

Nice to have

• Ability to cut and fit parts for weldments (open-table fit-ups)
• Layout stitch welds; locations of weld and weld size for welders
• Work from drawings, patterns, fixtures and specifications? Layout and operate both fuel gas and plasma hand torches for fitting purposes

What We Expect Of You

• Safety First - Every task you undertake embodies responsibility and safety awareness
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Prior exposure to Heavy Manufacturing in a Job Shop environment.
