Job description
Natural Gas midstream company seeks an Area Manager to oversee operations in the Roswell, NM. Qualified candidates should have a proven track record of building and managing midstream operations at the area level. Must have 25+ years' experience in the oil and gas industry and 10 years' experience managing operations that include gathering, treating, and processing facilities with sour gas. Must also have 5 years' management experience with midstream assets and be knowledgeable of all applicable New Mexico regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide oversight for area midstream assets/operations to include:
P&L responsibility for the area.
Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing for the area.
Execute corporate policy, planning, and strategic decisions.
Manage, direct, and motivate employees. Establish work standards and evaluate staff's performance.
Identify and recommend process improvements and materials to lower costs and/or increase volume.
Cost estimation and AFE preparation, including competitive bid analyses.
Management of preventive maintenance program.
Promote a company culture that advocates top performance, safety, and high morale.
Create and maintain positive customer relationships.
Ensure operational excellence and effective implementation of the company's goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive experience in the oil and gas midstream sector including facility and pipeline operations.
Experience managing New Mexico midstream operations that include gathering, treating, and processing facilities with sour gas.
Proven leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment.
High degree of technical ability. Detail oriented self-starter.
Strong understanding of all New Mexico applicable regulations.
Relationship building skills and customer focus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
