The State of Connecticut, Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking qualified individuals for Supervising Psychologist 1 (Clinical) positions located at Solnit South Campus-Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) in Middletown, CT.

In this role, your main responsibilities will include providing direct supervision to clinical staff in addition to overseeing psychological testing for the PRTF including the ability to administer a variety of objective and projective psychodiagnostics tests.. Albert J. Solnit Children's Center- S outh Campus, Middletown

Located in Middletown, it is widely recognized as a center of excellence for family-centered treatment of children and youth with serious emotional disturbances. This state-administered Psychiatric facility provides comprehensive care to children and adolescents under the age of eighteen, with severe mental illness and related behavioral and emotional problems who cannot be safely assessed or treated in a less restrictive setting. The South Campus consists of four co-ed hospital units and three female adolescent Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility cottages (PRTF).

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE

A Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology and two (2) years of postdoctoral experience as a licensed clinical psychologist.
