The IT intern role is designed for the intern to learn a broad range of skills and knowledge to further their personal skill set.

Requirements

A. Essential Functions

1. Assist tier 1 and 2 support tickets and escalate as needed.

2. Educate end users on the solution while completing their support ticket.

3. Deploy new devices.

4. Repair and replace components.

5. Create new user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, and other applications.

6. Assist with network and server maintenance.

7. Perform preventative maintenance on devices.

8. Provide support to IT projects.

9. Additional duties as assigned.

B. General Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the health and safety of persons served at all times.

2. Expected to serve as role model for persons served.

3. Expected to serve as an advocate and to protect the human rights of persons served at all times.

4. Expected to participate in training as required by your supervisor or for all LOGAN staff.

5. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

IV QUALIFICATIONS

A. Education: Pursuing a technology degree

B. Other: Must be able to communicate clearly, yet tactfully, with all levels of employees. Must have a broad, overall view of the LOGAN mission and be able to translate that mission into stated IT Technician objectives.

V CONTACT RESPONSIBILITY

The IT intern will be working in the same building as team members, persons with disabilities, families, residential providers and other professionals.

Fulfilling the responsibilities of this job might possibly result in contact with bodily fluids. LOGAN will provide training and offer Hepatitis B Vaccine at no cost to employees.
