Job Description:
ABC Imaging has an immediate opening for a Project Manager with an interest in working in the Large Format Printing industry. Qualified candidate must have knowledge of and experience using the Adobe Creative Suite particularly in design. We are willing to train the right individual. You will be working directly with a team that supports our high-end retail clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accept incoming jobs that require art production, digital manipulation, or output.
- Preflight all incoming digital files to ensure the most accurate reproduction based on customer expectations.
- Provides constant analysis and improvement of current preflight and prepress standards against evolving industry standards.
- Maintain proper calibration of digital equipment to industry standards utilizing modern RIP and color calibration equipment.
- Coordinate with other managers concerning schedules and deadlines, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Proof all jobs for accuracy, content, color, size, and production requirements.
- Aids the graphics and digital production teams as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience with Color Management rules and methodologies adhering to industry color standards
- Exceptional Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Corel Draw
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and head multiple projects without losing focus
- Strong attention to detail
- Stellar communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Self-driven growth activity in the modern design and print market via forums, magazines, or memberships in order to grow with developing technologies and strategies.
- Willingness to learn operation of our printing devices.
