Job description
We’re searching for an efficient and organized dealership receptionist to provide administrative and clerical support for our auto group. Our new team member will serve as a greeter to our guests and exhibit excellent customer service skills in every interaction. Day-to-day responsibilities will include answering phones, greeting customers in the service lane, and keeping car dealership operations running smoothly. This individual must also field complaints and questions in a friendly and professional manner, implement automotive group standards to streamline processes, schedule appointments, and help assist the check-in process. Responsibilities:
- Direct incoming calls and customer complaints to the appropriate person in a timely and professional manner
- Improve front desk receptionist skill set through employee development and administrative support programs
- Greet incoming customers in the service lane. Help direct them to the correct service advisor.
- Assist the overflow of vehicles in the service lane.
- Contact customers post repair to ensure they had a great experience.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel programs and the ability to learn new programs quickly
- Customer service, administrative assistant, or administrative support experience within a dealership showroom or auto group setting is preferred
- Associate’s degree preferred, but not required; high school diploma is mandatory
- Displays strong time management skills and the ability to quickly and accurately complete detailed work
- Possesses excellent interpersonal communications skills and an enthusiasm for working with customers
