Job description
An aesthetician will work with clients to develop a skin care protocol based on the goals of the clients, providing recommendations on the best product for the skin. Must have knowledge of different skin care services and products for personalized care.
Provide Chambers Center skincare services according to the protocols. These include but are not limited to, Dermaplaning, Microneedling (CIT), Chemical Peels, Extractions, Acne and Anti-Aging treatment.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Evaluates facial skin conditions and recommends appropriate course of treatment to the patients.
2. Performs various types of facial and skincare treatments such as therapies, peels, and massages.
3. Educates patients on skin care, cleaning, and recommends skin-care regimens and products for treatment.
4. Maintains records of patient medical history, preferences and ensures patient confidentiality.
5. Oversees quality care and high standards of service delivery.
6. Ensures sterilization and sanitization of medical tools and other equipment used in the treatment process.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required:
1. Completion of accredited School of Esthetics Program.
2. Hold a NJ State License with Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling.
3. 1-3 years of experience in Esthetician Services or relevant area.
Preferred:
1. Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a Health Care facility, Hospital System or relevant area.
2. Microneedling and Microdermabrasion training preferred.
