Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer - Fixture Design (Contract)
Job Type: 12-month contract with opportunity for extension
Job Location: Union City, CA
Salary Range: $70-$80/hr

We are the leading Medical Device company who specializes in surgical products and patient positioning. Our portfolio includes specialty surgical tables for procedure-specific approaches along with disposable and reusable surgical patient care products. Due to fast growth, we are looking to bring on a Sr. Electrical Engineer in Union City, CA.
- Design and qualify functional test fixtures for PCAs of low to medium complexity.
- Ability to identify manufacturability issues on PCAs and provide feedback to design team
- Ability to build and qualify the fixtures and release designs into a PLM system
- Prepare IQ/OQ and /or PQ protocols
- Write software code necessary for operation of fixtures
Must Have Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of electrical design experience with emphasis in fixture design
- Medical Device/Medical Equipment Manufacturing background
- Fluency with Altium software
- Experience designing and qualifying functional test fixtures for PCAs of low to medium complexity
