Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision and quality? We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team. Responsible for performing specified checks and tests on finished products that both meets our customer quality expectation and our production goals.

Scope
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision and quality? We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team. Responsible for performing specified checks and tests on finished products that both meets our customer quality expectation and our production goals.

Main activities

• To verify the quality of finished and unfinished tubes by means of visual inspection, measurements and testing of the finished and unfinished tubes.
• To document results of the visual inspection, measurements, and testing.
• To report non-conformance to the Shift Supervisor and/or line mechanic.
• To document non-conformance on the appropriate forms.
• To check product against Photostat as well as color sample for correct copy and decoration.
• To make holdouts of defective materials to be reworked.
• To complete required inspection reports and as necessary, record data in QIS.
• To perform miscellaneous duties as required.
• To keep work area clean and orderly.
• Rework as required.
• Other tasks as assigned

Profile (Experience & qualifications)

• Previous production/manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to use ruler, gauges, and other various test instruments.
• Good math skills
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good multi-tasking/problem solving skills.
