Position Title: Sales Account Manager, Foodservice
Location: Torrance, CA (Onsite)
FLSA Status: Exempt
Working Hours: 9am - 6pm (M - F)
Frequency of Business Trips (Local, Domestic Overnight and International- customer visits and tradeshows): 50%





OVERVIEW:
A global premium tea manufacturer is seeking a dynamic Sales Account Manager to foster and cultivate relationships with the food services distributor partners (i.e. US Foods, Sysco) and coffee distribution channels (i.e. cafes, boba shops). As a key player on our team, you will be responsible for promoting products, understanding customer needs, and driving sales growth by maximizing the company exposure in the sales channels and working together to make significant impact to increase the company's profitability.





ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
Business Development:
* Identify and engage potential food service and coffee distributor clients.
* Cultivate strong relationships with new and existing customers in the food services industry.
* Visit customer locations to promote product offerings (at least couple of times a week).
* Provide support to customers by assisting them in drink preparation and addressing menu-related inquiries as a manufacturer.
* Determine customer requirements and budgets, strategizing sales approaches accordingly.
* Actively seek sales opportunities and stay abreast of market trends through communication with customers.
* Promptly respond to customer questions, inquiries, and concerns regarding products.
* Handle and resolve customer complaints efficiently.

Sales Presentation:
* Develop and maintain sales materials for engaging customer presentations.
* Conduct persuasive sales presentations to introduce our promotional products to both current and potential clients.
* Generate leads and diligently follow up on them.
* Recommend potential services and product enhancements by analyzing customer information and understanding their needs.
* Submit weekly activity and sales call reports detailing customer-related activities such as quotes, orders, and any customer relationship problems.

Other & Miscellaneous:
* Plan, attend, and manage trade shows, including setup and breakdown, followed by effective follow-up on leads generated during trade show events.
* Collaborate on other projects and tasks as assigned.





QUALIFICATIONS:
* A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
* A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in a sales role.
* Prior experience in working with coffee distributors and/or food service distributors.
* Familiarity with Matcha is preferred (not mandatory).
* Able to attend business trips (including local, domestic overnight and international); valid California driver's license to operate a provided company car, US Passport, or equivalent permission to travel internationally required.








The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
