Job description
A successful and growing agriculture company in Iowa is seeking their next Operations Manager for a key grain and agronomy location. This is a high-volume location that will require excellent people and logistics management skills.
You will be responsible for all operational aspects of business at this location. This includes safety, maintenance, hiring/firing, customer interaction, small project management, and logistics planning.
The company is looking for a natural leader that can be a mentor to a solid, young crew. Good communication and employee development skills are a must. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in grain and/or retail agronomy management.
Base compensation will be $120,000-135,000 with an excellent company benefits plan and vehicle. There is also a generous performance incentive plan.
