Job description

Are you a Project Manager with experience managing roofing projects of varying sizes for various property types (Residential, Commercial, etc.)? Do you have a background with modern construction and project management softwares? Are you regularly involved with handling scheduling, overseeing quality and safety efforts, and collaborating with upper management?

We are a roofing company in the Southern California area in operation for over 30 years with a wide range of projects in roofing serving a wide variety of industries ranging from residential to commercial and beyond. We work closely with our clients to meet their business needs when it comes to planning and executing the building out of their businesses.

We are looking to bring on a Roofing Project Manager with a background working on commercial roofing projects to help oversee our projects to ensure that our teams are working efficiently, safely, and effectively.

What You Will Be Doing

- Lead all project aspects from scheduling and planning while coordinating with company leadership
- Build a culture of safety focused on training staff and handling safety compliances and investigations
- Establish budget plans for each project and manage both materials lists/ordering and approve cost information
- Lead large crews and help with training/mentoring to improve company resources
- Handle planning/scheduling of all contractors/subcontractors and approval of time and timecards

What You Need for this Position

The Roofing Project Manager must have at least 5years of experience working with roofing and be familiar with:

- Must have at least 2 years of experience in a Project Manager position overseeing crews
- Background overseeing crews working with various roofing materials (Composite Tile, TPO, Hotmop, etc.)
- Solid grasp of tasks related to scheduling, material inventory, employee training, and field management
- Knowledge of modern safety protocols and practices and ability to participate in safety meetings
- Proven experience with project management tasks and handling a solid portfolio of projects at the same time
- Experience with modern construction scheduling and project softwares (Procore, Microsoft Project, BIM360, P6 Primavera, etc.)

Nice to Have:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, or related field
- Professional certifications highly desired (OSHA, etc.)
