You support our team as
Tribology Intern
Responsibilities
- Support our tribology team by completing projects that will support the Mechanical Test Lab.
- Gain experience with test stand improvement, design, and build.
- Gain knowledge in new product development, tribology, and experience with standard tribology instruments and test methods.
- Work on data acquisition and analysis techniques.
- Meet with different departments and leaders within Kluber Lubrication to understand the full business model.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of college coursework completed with a major focusing in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Software Engineering.
- Mechanical aptitude – experience or interest in assembling/dissembling, general engineering topics, machine design, or related activities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, and intermediate Excel skills.
- Experience with computer software, python, coding, and CAD preferred.
- Strong communication skills – ability to communicate clearly with internal and external customers using verbal and written distribution channels.
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
