Equine Veterinary Practice, LLC is a very successful equine practice in Frankfort, IL that has an immediate opening for an associate veterinarian. The practice offers comprehensive mentoring for new graduates and an opportunity to become a practice owner. Our services include general health maintenance, lameness, minor surgery, digital radiography, upper airway endoscopy, ultrasound, dentistry, emergency care and equine reproduction. We are open to expanding into other disciplines such as chiropractic and acupuncture depending on interests. Our facility offers both haul-in and farm call services with experienced full-time assistants. Want to maintain your skills with small animal practice? We have a relationship with a nearby small animal hospital.
The ideal candidate should have a team-oriented attitude and the drive to provide outstanding service to the practice's clients and their horses. We value strong communication skills to continue fostering relationships within our communities. Our practice emphasizes work-life balance allowing for time to enjoy all that Chicago-land has to offer. We offer flexible scheduling with a 3, 4, or 5-day work week, based on your needs, and on call divided between the doctors. Applicants must be a graduate from an accredited veterinary degree program, on target to pass the NAVLE exam and have a valid Driver's License.
Starting salary is $80,000 annually with a dynamic benefits package including medical, professional liability, retirement, CE and membership budget.
