Responsibilities Point of contact and a source of technical knowledge for Microsoft enterprise systems support. Build automation scripts and frameworks to improve operational processes and procedures. Microsoft Server platforms (2003, 2008, 2012) to production environments. Support Microsoft Active Directory domains configurations as relates to server deployments. Build and implement Microsoft Windows Clusters for supporting products as needed. Support production application/product/environment escalations as needed.
Qualifications Required Minimum Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Required
- Bachelor's Degree of Computer Science, Information Systems. Preferred or related field. Preferred
- Five+ (5) years of equivalent work experience in-lieu of education will be considered. Required
Required Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the deployment and management Microsoft systems. Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting and implementing Microsoft Windows servers, Active Directory implementations and high availability cluster configurations. Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience with virtualization technologies including VMWare and operating or troubleshooting VMs in a highly virtualized environment. Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in directory services and authentication utilizing LDAP, AD and SAML. Required
- Experience with EMC SAN Storage systems and EMC Control Center; familiarity with industrial best practices on network, data replication, security, and data exchange. Required
- Enterprise Architecture Design- Oracle, XML, and LDAP experience highly. Preferred
Required Minimum Skills:
- Broad Functional knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and NT Infrastructure, network topologies and solutions architecture such as eDirectory Designs Architecture, Clustuering, Web Services, Citrix, Terminal Services Printing, RAS (Remote Access Services), RADIUS, secure remote access, and corporate network security solutions.
- Ability to configure server backups in NetBackup and TSM.
- A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft HyperV/Virtual Server.
- Extremely detail-oriented and able to follow standard methodologies for troubleshooting and development.
- Ability to effectively communicate with various teams and levels of management.
- Ability to effectively Troubleshooting production issues.
- Provide technical leadership for project based assignments.
- Working with cross-functional project teams to design and implement highly available server solutions using Microsoft, Citrix, and VMWare technologies.
- Manage one or more of the following technologies: Active Directory, Citrix XenApp, VMWare VCenter, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), SQL Server, Microsoft Cluster Server, Office365.
- Providing technical documentation to project and Operations teams as part of project deliverables.
