SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
JOB TITLE : Field Electrician

DEPARTMENT : Facilities Maintenance
LOCATION : Johnson County Service Center (Lenexa, Ks)
PAY : $50.83
Scheduled Work Hours : Monday through Friday, 7:30 to 4:00
Headquartered in both Kansas City and Topeka, Evergy employs about 4,900 people who are dedicated to empowering a better future. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Field Electrician, Johnson County Service Center.
Duties :
Works alone when required in the performance of his/her duties throughout the territory.
Installs, maintains, and repairs building lighting, receptacles, controls, plumbing fixtures, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning plants, heat pumps and equipment including duct work.
Performs similar and related work consistent with the general nature of this job classification.
Qualifications
Essential Job Functions : Must be able to perform all essential functions as identified by the Company. Reasonable accommodations may be made upon request to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
General : Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship or four years’ experience as a journeyman electrician. Must have experience with repair of plumbing, HVAC equipment, BMS systems, motor controls and electronics troubleshooting, and replacing light ballasts/drivers. Must be licensed by state law to drive company vehicles.
Education : High School or equivalent
