Siemens Industry is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Technician for our new Fort Worth, TX factory. The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will be working closely with the Manufacturing Engineer to improve assembly processes as well to introduce / implement innovative technologies on floor.
You will make an impact by:
• Supporting production lines in terms of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory improvements.
• Conducting studies (researching, gathering, comparing, computing, and evaluating data) to determine improvement opportunities in efficiency, quality, costs, and safety.
• Planning and execution of continuous improvement projects to improve plant level goals.
• Supporting the implementation of innovative technologies, processes, and equipment.
• Makes recommendations on methods of operation, workstations, floor layout, and equipment.
• Developing/maintaining systems associated with production processes, layouts, flow, equipment, and communications.
• Collaborating with contractors and suppliers for project implementation.
• Managing the priorities and utilization of resources efficiently.
• Help develop standard work instructions to be used as training guidelines for new employees.
• Collaborating with cross functional teams such as Engineering and Finance to achieve plant goals.
• Working with a cross functional teams (quality, manufacturing, materials, design engineering, finance).
• Performing other work as directed by Supervision.

Basic Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing environment in a technician role.
• Knowledge of Wiring assembly, lean concepts, basic shop matht.
• Able to interpret or learn to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical / measuring tools.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer sponsored work authorization.
• Able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English language.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of CAD
