Job description

This program aims to provide aspiring medical professionals with a holistic understanding of clinical practices and research methodologies. We are encouraging dedicated students to use this opportunity to enhance their academic and professional journey in the field of medicine.
In keeping with our mission to eliminate cancer by providing education to students and the public, we can provide university students with the opportunity to learn about careers in cancer medicine most especially to those who would otherwise not have access to our world class institution.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Specialties: Surgery, radiation oncology, medical oncology, or radiology.
"Hands-in-pocket" experience: Observational role, focused on watching and listening to medical professionals in action.
Students will not accompany surgeons to the operating theater.
Sponsoring physicians will engage with students, sharing insights into the journey of becoming a physician including discussions on the medical profession, career paths, and the importance of ongoing learning.

Hospital administration enthusiasts can shadow onsite administrators or directors.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Open to undergraduate students who have completed at least one year of coursework in chemistry, physics, biology, or mathematics/computer science.
Graduate students are also eligible to apply.
Applicants must be in good academic standing.
Demonstrated interest in direct patient care, clinical research, or hospital administration.
