Job description
The Second Judicial District is accepting applications for a part-time, temporary, C ommitment Appeal Panel Law Clerk . The Law Clerk will work with the Honorable Edward Sheu who is chambered in the Ramsey County Courthouse located in St. Paul, MN. The anticipated start date for this position is late March to early April 2024.
Part-time: This position is authorized at 24 hours per week (.60 FTE).
Temporary: This position is funded through June 30, 2025, but may be extended if additional funding permits.
Law Clerks are at-will employees and the work is performed under the supervision of a District Court Judge. The successful candidate will be articulate, self-motivated, and an excellent writer. Solid academic and analytical skills are required. Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Computer literacy is important, familiarity with Westlaw and Microsoft Word/Windows operating system preferred.
