Job Title: Mid-Level DevOps business Analyst
Location: Green Bay, WI (2 week onsite rest remote)
Duration: Long term
Rate: $ 50 - 60/hr
Summary
We're seeking a talented, mid-level DevOps business Analyst with exceptional business analysis skills to bridge the gap between our development and operations teams while ensuring solutions align with business objectives. You will play a pivotal role in streamlining software development and code deployment.. Your ability to understand business requirements and effectively translate them into technical solutions will be essential for ensuring our systems deliver value and support our company goals.
Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify, document, and analyze business requirements, transforming them into clear technical specifications.
Process Optimization: Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and workflows, emphasizing automation and efficiency.
Infrastructure Management: Provision, configure, and maintain cloud-based or on-premises infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up comprehensive monitoring systems, proactively identify potential issues, and perform effective troubleshooting to ensure system stability and reliability.
Testing and Validation: Collaborate with development teams to design and implement testing strategies including unit, integration, and performance testing.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create clear technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
Collaboration: Work effectively within a cross-functional team, including developers, operations, project managers, and business stakeholders.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering or BA role.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Circle CI, etc.).
Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.)
Business Analyst Skills:
Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Experience with requirements gathering methods (interviews, workshops, process mapping, etc.).
Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Desired Skills (Bonus):
Experience in a Healthcare industry vertical
Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools
Understanding of security best practices such as NIST, HIPAA HITRUST
