At Fortuna, we're seeking a seasoned Senior Business Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between business strategies and technological advancements, particularly within the Healthcare space, with a focus on TennCare modernization. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in linking business needs to technology strategies, thereby driving innovation and efficiency in our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the vision and intricacies of the Tennessee Medicaid space, aligning business strategies with technological advancements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate the latest technology and productivity tools such as SNOW, JAMA, and JIRA into our business strategy.
- Define process modeling architecture standards, moving from textual and rudimentary static diagrams to advanced methodologies such as ProVision.
- Establish Fortuna as a thought leader and vision enabler at the highest levels of TN, including C-level executives and direct reports.
- Develop business capability maps and identify technical enabler tools to support organizational objectives.
- Work closely with Enterprise and Technical architects to strategize and oversee business capabilities.
- Lead the development of critical deliverables such as business capability models, value streams, and migration strategies for modernizing legacy business architecture.
- Define and shape the Business architecture space for new endeavors like our MMIS core, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Continuously develop and maintain core entities, models, and views while actively participating in strategic planning sessions.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a comprehensive Knowledge Base integrating processes and system applications within the TennCare space.
- Manage the Business Architecture practice across the organization, driving its evolution towards maturity through infrastructure development, training, governance, and tool implementation.
Skills:
- Proficiency in business process modeling, enterprise architecture, and associated tools.
- Strong visualization skills to develop high-level models for future analysis and business architecture maturation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable recommendations.
- Project management skills with a focus on goal setting and achieving desired results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Technology Management.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in senior Business Analysis, Business Architecture, or Solutions Architecture roles, preferably in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Logistics System areas.
- Experience in modeling business processes using various tools and techniques, including UML.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture modeling tools.
