Job Summary:

Statewide Clinical Outreach for the Elderly S-COPE Our statewide program looks to promote the most efficient use of acute care services and long-term psychiatric services for our clients, In collaboration with the facilities we interface with, the goal is to develop expertise in promoting the quality of life, wellness, and dignity of each resident. As an S-COPE clinician, the objective is to equip the staff of the residential facilities with tools to effectively manage behavioral issues in place.

Essential Functions:

• The role of the MA Clinician is to provide education to screening centers, psychiatric inpatient units, and long-term care settings on how to access services.
• Duties include face-to-face on-site assessment and phone consultation.
• Professional consultation
• Recommendations regarding the level of support
• Treatment and case-specific intervention
• Assessment of older adults to clarify diagnosis and assist with treatment planning

Job requirements:

Educational Skills Required Degrees, Certifications, License, etc

Masters in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or psychology

Work Experience Required

On-Call Component to job Monday-Sunday on a Monthly and as-needed schedule,

Monday-Friday 04:30 PM-08:30 PM Saturday and Sunday 08:30 AM-06:30 PM
