Job description

Berning Marketing and Productions is looking for a motivated and talented Video Editor / Motion Graphic Designer

This person will work closely with broadcast producer, director, coordinator, and assistant editors:

• Editing HD and film / television commercials
• Editing long format documentaries
• Editing reality TV shows
• Editing music videos • Developing innovating conceptual approaches to post production techniques

We are looking for someone who can:

• Efficiently and effectively manage time and achieve grace under pressure
• Maintain a high level of quality and professionalism in a team environment
• Take constructive criticism and incorporate it into his/her work
• Keep a can-do attitude & a willingness to pitch in where needed
• Provide the positive energy to be a catalyst for growth, both as an individual and for the company

Qualified applicants will have:

• Expert knowledge of Avid Media Composer
• Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects CS4 & CS5
• Experience with Nuke or Node-based compositing • Experience with Syntheyes or 3D Camera-Tracking programs • Novice knowledge of 3D Studio Max
• Knowledge of Computer Networking
• Capabilities with Creative Conception
• Skills in sound design / audio mixing
• Professional hardware experience
• Ability to produce high quality work within deadlines
• Communication / organization skills
