Job description
FocusKPI is looking for a Senior Payroll Accountant to join our client, a high-tech SaaS company.

Work Location: Remote in the U.S. (PST, MST, CST is preferable)
Duration: 6 months
Pay Range: $50/hr to $62/hr
Responsibilities: - Responsible for payroll related month-end activities including but not limited to journals, account reconciliations, and other accounting operations
- Document and maintain payroll accounting processes, policies and procedures according to US GAAP
- Research and interpret IFRS and US GAAP for new payroll initiatives and non-standard payroll transactions
- Provide basic accounting education for the Payroll Operations team, as needed
- Assist with global payroll automation initiatives to drive continuous process improvements
- Work cross functionally with other Accounting teams on projects, financial audits, and financial reporting
- Assist Global Payroll Compliance team with audits, as needed
- Assist with ad-hoc Global Payroll projects (e.g. M&A, global and/or regional benefit initiatives and etc.)
Qualifications: - At least 8-10 years of Accounting experience , exposure to Global Payroll Accounting would be a PLUS
- Netsuite, Oracle, Workday Payroll, ADP Compliance experience a PLUS
- Strong Excel experience
- Critical thinker and problem solver
- Applicant must be detail-oriented
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines
- Shift work for at least the first 6 months to accommodate USA time zone
- Candidate should have good customer service and communication skills
- Candidate should have strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities
- Must be comfortable working with a remote manager and global team
