Plasman Greer, South Carolina is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as:

Master Trainer

The Master Trainer or designate is responsible for overseeing the training, continuous improvement of training activities and material all new Team members on the relevant production processes at the manufacturing plant location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

The responsibilities and authorities for this position include, but are certainly not limited to:

• Ensure that all trainers are properly trained to the processes within their specific disciplines.
• Oversee in the training of new Team Members.
• Audit the training process within each department to include auditing the Trainer(s) and Trainee(s)
• Initiate and maintain training qualification matrixes for the hourly employees and update as required.
• Assist with Team Leader/Supervisor in identifying required competencies
• Maintain database of training audits and reports, send to the Management Team as required.
• Provide and document qualified training where applicable.
• Identify qualified instructors to provide on-the-job training.
• Ensure all on-the-job training sheets are completed, signed and logged into the system.
• Ensure that all Trainers from outside the company have provided background information such as their required license or certifications, work experience and references where applicable.
• Assist in the development of training initiatives that impact the plant production process.
• Recommend and participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
• Promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all times.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating Systems and all health and safety and environmental legislation.
• Completion of any other duties as assigned.
• Abide by Company Value Statement and the Company Standard Code of Conduct

MINIMUM EDUCATION /OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:

• 4 Hour Health & Safety Training
• Quality, Environmental Health & Safety, and other relevant Company Policy awareness
• New Employee Orientation (when required)
• Accredited Train the Trainer Certification

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the following minimum work experience qualifications:

• Must have at least 6 months Plasman manufacturing experience
• Must have good communication skills, both written & verbal
• Must have the ability to train others
• Must have the ability to be trained for the above mentioned responsibilities and authorities
• Acceptable performance record and attendance record required

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

The ability to perform well under pressure and have analytical decision-making skills.

• Meets expectation rating for relevant competencies.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts.
