About This Role 

We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and strategic Materials Planner to join our company, and to provide support for our purchasing, production and inventory management activities. Experience in working with and purchasing raw materials and planning in a manufacturing environment is desired. The Materials and Production Scheduler is responsible for scheduling and material tracking for production out 30 days for the SKU’s manufactured at facility. This role will plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials through the production, compliance testing and sales cycle to ensure smooth production. This will include working with the purchasing department ensuring materials are ordered when inventory is low, receiving inventory of raw materials and updating our inventory software. Proper inventory control will be paramount for this position for both raw materials as well as finished goods. The Planner shall ensure the production schedule maintains proper monthly inventory levels for finished products and is in accordance with provided projections. The Planner will schedule and manage material replenishment and inventory to ensure on-time delivery for customer orders. This position will work with the inventory tracking software INFLOW along with the state compliance software METRC. As with all MBAF LLC employees you may be moved to assist with other tasks as needed. 

Other Responsibilities may include: 

• Receive Purchase Orders and update inventory system with lot codes of materials received. 
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment in maintained. 
• Maintain and prepare work orders, METRC Tags, production calendar and piece tags 
• Properly enter inventory into Leaflink and other sales software as needed. 
• Assist the Compliance Team with maintaining facility records in accordance with cGMP standards. 
• Assist with general work required by supervisors in facility to maintain production standards and schedule. 
• Assist with procurement of raw materials and maintaining vendors and inventory into company CRM system INFLOW. 
• Perform audits on inventory weekly / monthly / as needed by accounting department 
• Preserve a culture of professionalism. 
• Ensure equipment is properly stored in an organized fashion. 
• Ensure daily / weekly production goals are met across facility. Adjust schedules to ensure inventory for brands are maintained.
