We are growing and have an immediate opening for a full-time dynamic, success driven Senior Construction Manager who is a licensed professional engineer to join our team in for a multi-year water facility treatment project located in Lewisville, TX. In this role, you will provide highly responsive construction management services in one of the firm’s core business lines. The SeniorSenior Construction Manager duties will include, but not limited to:
- Serve as trusted Owner’s Representative to mitigate project risk and ensure successful project execution from design through construction close out.
- Support pre-construction planning, design, and procurement activities in collaboration with other, in-house project controls personnel, owner, and designer.
- Monitor field activities and oversee field inspections to ensure all work is completed to plan and is executed within the established schedule and budget.
- Manage and monitor the budget, and schedule of the project in conjunction with office-based cost and schedule support, providing regular reporting to ownership group.
- Observe and report on the quality and pace of work conducted on site.
- Coordinate, monitor and distribute client design modifications. Track changes in conjunction with project contingency. Support contract modification entitlement and negotiation in support of the owner.
- Provide strong document and project controls including monitoring RFI and Submittal traffic for potential cost/schedule impacts.
- Thoroughly document, track and convey all action items and activities via meeting minutes, weekly and monthly project update reports.
- Perform other Construction Management duties and assist Business Development functions as necessary.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years construction management experience
- Prior experience with one or more of the following project types: wastewater treatment facilities, wastewater collection systems, pump stations, water transmission, distribution projects and pipeline rehabilitation projects.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas a plus.
- Experience providing owner representation for new construction, modernization and/or repair programs highly desired.
- Ability to successfully pass a thorough background check.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage challenging, multi-faceted projects.
- Well-versed in Construction Manager at Risk delivery method.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite software, as well as industry standard project management software.
- BS or BA in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field preferred. Relevant work experience of 10+ years can be substituted for this requirement.
