POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for advancing AtriCure's brand and strategy by developing and delivering concise and impactful communications on behalf of our executives. As a member of the Internal Marketing team, the Specialist is responsible for coordinating, creating, and distributing multi-channel communications and activities that reflect the distinctive voice of our executives and that keep external and internal audiences informed, inspired, and aligned with strategy, priorities, culture, and values. The coordinator will work closely with company stakeholders, including our Executive Leadership Team, Human Resources, Operations, Finance, and Facilities to create written, visual, and video content and distribute it through appropriate channels, including email, intranet, presentations, social media, in-person, and digital communication boards. They will also track and understand results (analytics) to recommend improvements. Must be a curious and versatile writer who knows how to use short-form and long-form writing and digital formats (including video) to align and inspire audiences, and a curious learner and quick study who stays up on emerging trends for high-impact communications.   • Ability to work in a deadline-driven writing environment of multiple projects and quick turn-around requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, journalism, or Communications required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • 2+ years of Internal Marketing or Internal Communication experience
  • Demonstrated strength in writing and editing
  • Ability to relay organization's goals and values to employees
  • Ability to work with team members remotely and across locations
  • Ability to work with other departments on projects towards a common goal
  • Strong attention to detail as well as business copywriting standards
  • Ability to travel 10%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Medical Device industry experience
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed
  • Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
