Job description
Main Purpose of Role
Assisting with all operational activities and tasks as it pertains to vessels and marine terminals. Multiple forms of reporting for all ZIM Operated and partner vessels for all services calling other designated ports. Focus on creating and updating vessel proforma schedule. Monitor and report on KPI’S.
Main Tasks
- Planning the coordination of ERD and vessel cutoff’s with ports, partners, and customer service.
- Creating the Vessel Schedule and troubleshooting any Vessel Schedule discrepancies.
- Conducting research to find the root cause for any mis-discharged containers
- Arriving and Departing vessels via AgenTeam
- Processing COD’s in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Preparing ADR's (Actual Departure Repository) for all vessels that carry ZIM cargo
- Manage the Non-Manifested Recovery System for Cost BusterZ open items
- Complete, analyze and distribute required internal reports as necessary to support the achievement of company revenue and vessel/port objectives
- Assist with operations strategies in support of industry goals and changes
- Administrative functions as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
• Academic education: High School.
• Previous experience in the shipping industry preferred.
• Experience with MS and Windows Programs.
