Job Responsibilities


Pay Grade: R

This position provides state-wide leadership for Public Health nursing practice. Serves as Director for the Office of Nursing and provides leadership and guidance to senior nurses responsible for nurse protocols and training requirements, school health, emergency preparedness, and education and professional development.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Minimum Qualifications


Doctorate or Master's degree in Nursing, Public Health or related field from an accredited college or university AND Ten years of professional nursing management/supervisory experience AND Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Public Health.
Experience in public health nursing.
