ABOUT THIS ROLE

As an Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) within our Global Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing strategic finance initiatives while providing crucial financial support for our business development efforts.

Your responsibilities will include providing analytical support and crafting complex models to facilitate data-driven decision-making across various aspects of Audible's business, including investments and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A).

Your insights will be instrumental in helping our strategy leaders comprehend the financial implications of our Long Range Strategic Plan. Additionally, you'll be involved in analyzing and reporting on whether desired returns have been achieved.

This role will afford you a deep understanding of Audible's business dynamics within a highly competitive subscription landscape.

As an Associate Director of FP&A, you will:

- Collaborate in constructing financial projections aligned with our Long Range Strategic Plan.
- Partner closely with our Corporate Strategy and Business Development teams on various projects and analyses.
- Drive analytics projects and develop business models to derive key insights for critical decision-making across global markets.
- Conduct ad hoc scenario analyses to support variable decision-making.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of our customers and the essential KPIs necessary for effective business operations.
- Foster and enhance relationships with key stakeholders across departments, including Product, Strategy, Marketing, and business intelligence teams, as well as counterparts in Amazon finance.
- Develop and deliver high-level presentations on projects and investments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5+ years of professional experience in financial planning, strategic advisory (Consulting or Investment Banking), or operations analysis.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Demonstrated excellence in financial analysis and complex modeling.
- Proven ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with peers, subordinates, executive management, and other stakeholders.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective executive interaction and influence.
