Job description
Responsible for sales, overall business performance and customer applications support for the Canon imagePRESS Digital Printing Systems into all segments and markets; Commercial Print, Strategic Accounts, Retail and Government. Manages a team to sell and support imagePRESS systems. Manages the sales and support process which including; producing customer benchmarks, assisting with or leading the demonstration process, technical needs analysis, recommended configuration of equipment and workflows, technical support for workflow extensions such as Image Processing, Variable Data Printing (VDP), Web to Print, Integration, Color Management and Finishing. Work with managers across Canon Solutions America & Canon USA when needed.
- Responsible for sales, overall business performance and customer applications support for the Canon imagePRESS Digital Printing Systems into all segments and markets; Commercial Print, Strategic Accounts, Retail and Government.
- Manages daily activities of the specialists for sales into Commercial Print and Color Production Analysts for customer applications training and support for imagePRESS installations.
- Supports the Production Print Group in development of high value needs analysis, sales proposals, presentations and financial analysis for customers to support new business activities.
- Provides tracking of sales prospects through the sales funnel process and accurate forecasting to senior management.
- Works with the senior manager and technical applications support to develop and implement professional and value-added services in support of imagePRESS customers.
- Must be a team player and have the ability to effectively communicate across all levels as well as manage Canon Solutions America and Canon USA resources as necessary to support customer sales and support activities.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 15 years of related experience.
- Comprehensive level of knowledge of and/r an authoritative proficiency in a specific professional discipline and/or particular field of specialization.
- Extensive knowledge of Canon products and competitors.
- Requires extensive travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
In accordance with applicable law we are providing the anticipated base salary for this role: $126,670 - $189,700
