Job description

Aunt Millies Bakeries, a family-owned business since 1901, is a leader in the wholesale baking and route distribution industry. The company is headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana and produces bread and other bakery products which are distributed throughout the United States, primarily in the Midwest.

A Retail Clerk  position involves assisting customers, stocking shelves, pricing product, keeping the store clean and organized, and bringing product from the loading dock to the thrift area. Pay is $12.50 per hour. Paid weekly.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Stocking product on shelves/displays
• Practicing safe work procedures
• Handling monetary transactions
• Checking in outside vendors
• Inventory control
• Housekeeping tasks
• Making bank deposits

Candidates should :

• Have an excellent driving record with a valid license and proof of insurance to make bank deposits
• Have an eagerness to provide outstanding customer service
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be self-motivated
• Have reliable transportation
• Have basic math skills
• Be able to move 22 pounds
• Be neat in appearance
• Be able to work varied hours including weekends
• Be willing to do a large variety of tasks
