Community Healthcare System is hiring for a Registered Nurse in our Float RN
***BONUS ELIGIBLE POSITION*** Job Description: The Staff RN is responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process and provides a safe environment for patients, visitors, and associates. The nurse practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, the Community Healthcare System policies, and procedures, and supports the mission and philosophy of CHS.
Education/Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
- BSN desirable.
- Successful completion of The Community Healthcare System's Personnel and Nursing Orientation Programs.
- Obtains and maintains current BLS training (card)
- Obtains and maintains current ACLS training (card) as determined by policy.
- Minimum two years of nursing experience
Float RN Option III requirements - 48 hours weekend shift per 6-week schedule
- 48 hours off shift/6-week schedule
- Work 2 major Holidays per year- 1 summer/1 winter- in addition 2 other high request days.
Typically, higher base rate of pay for floating.
