Position Overview:

We currently have an exciting full-time opening for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our school partners in Waltham. This position is focused on providing support to elementary students. As an SLP, you will be responsible for providing both push-in and pull-out services to a caseload of about 35 students and various profiles, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. You’ll have a shared office space alongside other related service professionals in the same buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Completes evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth
• Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students at the elementary level
• Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students' speech and/or language needs
• Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans
• Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• License eligible in the state of MA
• Previous experience in a K-12 setting (preferred)
