SAIC is seeking a proven, passionate, and dynamic industry leader to head our “Intrapreneurship” activities. As Director of Product Management, reporting to VP of Products, Investments, and Ventures, you will work with our Innovation Factory, Finance, and Contracts/Procurement teams to transform our delivery models in high growth markets , leading innovations involving labor-based services toward s products and XaaS offerings. You will be responsible for leading product management governance including business case development , progression through technical and business development maturity , and portfolio management of our enterprise growth initiatives. As a named “Disrupter” you are accountable for challenging yourself and the organization on a daily basis , leveraging your entrepreneurial and change agent skills to design and deploy rapid experiments to uncover disruptive growth opportunities within and beyond our business groups.
The successful candidate will come with a start-up mentality, helping evolve the process, tracking, reporting , and implementation of this business transformation activity. You will be chartered with implementing the plan for the future of product management and XaaS offerings in a well-established government services organization with a focus on innovating around product development & sales while technical teams innovate around the products . The successful candidate will have strong collaborative capabilities, executive presentation skills with the ability to represent our products and offerings to multiple internal & external stakeholders . Success will require you to envision the end state, formulate the plan, roll up your sleeves to help our Digital & Engineering product teams , and execute against it. You will be accountable for defining plans and executing against them for all Horizon 1 investments with Offering Managers during business case development, leading business case evaluation, driving development timelines, and delivering business outcomes through a dedicated product sales team that drives ROI with new & continuously improved existing products & services .

Trailblazer with experience as a Sr Technical Product Manager who has had demonstrated market success
Experience developing “as a Service” offerings, and transforming service based customers to product and XaaS customers
Experience as the owner of product management processes & tools with governance, investment & financial management , portfolio management including process tracking and reporting experience
Experience working in a matrix structure c ollaborating with technical, business, & functional leaders to develop the vision for products from idea through delivery & sales.
Ability to manage a portfolio of investment activities at the strategic and tactical level while removing duplication, orchestrating development activities, and extracting enterprise value
Leader who can influence and collaborate with technical teams by supporting the enterprise with business plan & case driving enterprise-wide change management initiatives in legacy services companies
Industry brand awareness with experience driving business development, sales, and marketing
Clear and objective communicator, who will report to executive sponsors on progress, impediments, budget utilization , and ROI
Ability to rapidly test and validate customer problems, potential solutions and related business models
Experience sizing markets and directing financial management teams who can model opportunity analysis
Has market connections that promote ideation, new ways of working, and alternative acquisition strategies across the federal government

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant business, technical, or professional field of study ; MBA desired
Minimum than 10 years of experience leading start-up and/or internal innovation groups with in or with a large company as a consultant
Proven track record of success in developing, introducing and selling products in a Fixed Price and XaaS market
Relevant experience with federal, state and local government customers, with a strong preference for experience across multiple types of government agencies e.g. DoD, Civilian, National Security, etc …
Experience collaborating with and influencing senior personnel, in either a formal line relationship or as the lead for complex programs that shape demand, generate concepts, build, release, and drive profitability of products
T rack record in coaching & mentoring technical leaders in the business dimensions of Product Management, with a focus on business acumen , customer discovery, demand generation and sales
Clear skills in applying organizational design/development experience to support transforming and upskilling to create a culture of Product Management across a matrix organization
Ability to collaborat e with teams using internal and customer facing change management strategies and plans to effect transformation among technical teams, P&L leaders, customers, and influencers
Experience influencing an enterprise -wide community responsible for selling new offerings, emerging technologies, and/or new delivery models
Strengths in set ting guidelines, criteria, and best-in-class competencies for Product Management
Excels at identifying , shaping, and cultivating growth opportunities in early stage maturation from problem identification through solutioning, competitive positioning, and proposal development
Knowledge of Federal business acquisition process and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
