Description:

SGI Global LLC is seeking a Strategic Management Consultant to support our government client. As priorities shift within the government, we are being called to utilize innovative solutions to deliver advanced transactions to improve resilience to infrastructure at best value. SGI is seeking a Strategic Management Consultant to support to assist in the conceptual design (i.e. identifying opportunities or assisting in development of an innovative concept) and transactional support of mission critical projects.

Location:

This position will be a hybrid position, with a requirement to be in person in the DMV area 1-2 days per week. Occasional travel to both CONUS and OCONUS may be required (approx. 10% of time).

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with the client to gather, interpret and translate executive-level guidance into actionable initiatives aligned to appropriate organizational mission areas and determine value and alignment of proposed initiatives to executive-level strategic guidance, request resources from overseers or mission sponsors, and allocate resources to the highest priority mission areas.
• The Strategic Management Consultant will coordinate appropriate stakeholders in the prioritization of requirements across directorates and organizations.
• The Strategic Management Consultant will provide support to documentation process and leading meetings, teams, projects, and client support specific to the strategic management environment.
• The Strategic Management Consultant will work with DoD stakeholders to discover mission gaps, infrastructure concerns, and the strategic long-term mission.
• The Strategic Management Consultant will gather, interpret and execute executive level guidance into actionable initiatives aligned to appropriate organizational mission areas.
• The Strategic Management Consultant will work with senior level leaders to execute strategy, and ability to leverage experience to work with industry to move at a speed of relevance.
• The Strategic Management Consultant will draft deliverables to include a variety of communication products such as newsletters, website verbiage, executive level briefing and presentations, news articles, meeting minutes, slick sheets, placemats, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience
• Secret Government Clearance.
• Demonstrated experience working with 'Big 4' consulting firms and senior level stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis, visualization, and budgeting of funds.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; to include Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to understand complex subjects and break down into something understandable for a variety of audiences.
• Preferred; Desired skillsets includes strategy, process design and improvement.
• Preferred; Candidate will have experience working within DoD and understanding rank structure.
